Schumann Resonance (7.83Hz)

'Cymatics' is the physics of sound made visible.

The inspiration for the particular frequency used to create this image came from the Schumann Resonance: Earth's resonant vibrational frequency. The Earth has an electromagnetic field surrounding and protecting all living things with a natural frequency pulsation of 7.83 hertz, along with progressively weaker harmonics at around 14.3, 20.8, 27.3, and 33.8 Hz. These oscillations are called the Schumann resonances.

“The frequency of 7.83Hz has a wavelength equal to the circumference of the Earth. This golden frequency is in the theta region of the brain, home to the mu rhythm. It is also the key note to which Nikola Tesla tuned the North American Power Grid. The electric power hums at 60Hz, the ninth overtone of the Earth, and loudest note from Space―B1, or Deep B."
